Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission and nine other departments jointly issued the "Guidelines for Green and Low Carbon Transformation Industries (2024)", which clarifies the scope of support from multiple fields such as manufacturing, infrastructure, and service industry, among which the green and low-carbon development in transportation has become a major focus. The directory supports the manufacturing fields of green ships, rail transit equipment, aviation equipment, as well as the green transformation of traditional equipment. In terms of infrastructure construction, we support the green construction of green highways, rail transit, transportation hub station renovations, charging, swapping, and refueling facilities, multi-modal transportation systems, and port waterways. The directory focuses on supporting the construction and operation of intelligent transportation systems, including traffic command systems, electronic police systems, video surveillance, signal control, risk analysis, information services, intelligent public transportation, intelligent parking, and high-speed fare deduction systems. At the same time, it will also support the construction and operation of slow traffic systems, shared transportation facilities, and urban and rural passenger transport systems. It is worth mentioning that the directory will also support the development of green civil aviation, environmentally friendly railways, green ports and waterways, and other fields.
